Still throwing out unsold bread? Why not use it to grow sales.....
If you are still throwing out unsold bread then you are missing out on some labor friendly potential sales.
What can you do with stale bread?
Bread Pudding: Recipes will vary dependent upon the bread used. You can use anything from croissants, danish, cinnamon rolls and artisan breads (some places even use donuts). Use a custard consisting of milk, sugar and carton eggs (or you can use a flan powder), Flavor with raisins, cinnamon and vanilla. Bake at 375.
Croutons: Cube leftover bread and toss in olive oil. Coat with sea salt, dried herbs or seasoning salt. Bake at 375 until dark brown.
Bread Crumbs: Cube leftover bread and bake at a low temp until thoroughly dry. Grind dry bread in a food processor or buffalo chopper. Flavor with basil, oregano and parsley for italian style.
